So far we have tried many things to help Bailey. Her system is so sensitive that she can not tolerate any prescriptions that have been offered to cope with ADHD.
We are just beginning to read about the FAILSAFE Diet and how it is helping many children who are wired like Bailey and have rages daily just like her.
I started trying to be aware of what she is eating yesterday. Salicylates seem to be a huge trigger for her. Today we had lunch at Fuddrucker's and I intentionally let her have the honey mustard to dip her fries in. Before we left the restaurant she started acting "spacey". Staring and getting up from her seat and walking around the table. The only things she ate were fries and honey mustard. She drank Sprite Zero.
We left the restaurant and went to Walmart. She totally lost it in the store and had meltdown after meltdown. If her brother had not been with us we would have had to leave without making any of our necessary purchases.

Can't find a list of ingredients for the Fuddrucker's fries. They do have pepper in the spice blend and that is high on the nasty list.
I am just learning about the FAILSAFE diet so I am not sure of all of the items above but the ones highlighted are definitely on the nasty list.
Tomorrow is another day of working with Bailey to try and help her get through this time. Not giving up on our sweet girl.
